iPod Touch - Game Apps (Wishlist)

OK, so I'm getting an iPod 3rd Generation for my birthday and so I'm already thinking off some of the apps I want to get. But game apps are the only apps where tastes don't really differ as quality is what people are looking for. So here is the list of the game apps that look good to me, with their genre and prices next to them.

OK, so Cyber Stream isn't eagerly anticipated, but I still want to spread the word of my little game project. Currently there are two ways to see how the game is like. On was to download the 7th Demo of the game, and as of now, you can also see gameplay footage of Demo 9.

Mentalist and Castle

Damn! Mentalist is almost certainly finished, after Patrick Jane shot Red John. Unless they make a new season with the inevitable court case, and with Patrick Jane continuing to help Lisbon and the gang catch murderers.

Likewise, season finally of Castle, were Beckett get's shot is annoying. It was a brilliant episode, it's just waiting till next year to see if the writers of the show let her live is torture. Although my Prelims will help take my mind of that.

No love for 3DS?

Why is there no love for 3Ds? It is better than the PSP, looks like it will be better than the Vita, as soon as February comes anyway, and is a huge improvement over the DS. You can play the 1000+ DS games catologue on it, along with 90% of DSiWare, the new 3DS games and it has a virtual console. It's absoloutely beast!

Apart from some stinkers on Capcoms behalf (Resident Evil: Mercenaries 3D and Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition were worse than expected) it has some really good games as of now (Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars, Pilotwings, Dead or Alive: Dimensions), and with loads of brilliant titles coming soon (F1 2011, Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Paper Mario, Crush3d, Monster Hunter 4, etc.), and with a price tag of only 130 pounds, there has never been a better time to buy one!

Escape
Top Down Arena shooter inspired by Rockboshers and Boxhead, this is a semi-toony arcade game where you cannot aim, but shoot north, south, west and east, while avoiding enemies. V1 coming soon.

An amazing website for people who own any of the 4 evolutions of the DS. I've gone carefully through the list finding the best games it offers, with the largest variation of game genres. Nestled into the cart (if you copy and paste the text at the bottom of this post) are a couple of RPGs from big names, Racers, Puzzlers, Platformers and even two first person shooters. Ok, I just got a PlayStation 2 and I am 'enjoying' Micro Machine V4. What is annoying is the camera angle of the game, meaning if your far ahead but no far enough to win the battle point you can't see where your going. And the falls that happen when the AI ram you for no reason. Hilarious. Not! I'd give it 64% Best!
